*The Neverhood looks and plays like a Gumby dream. It’s an engaging Myst-style point-and-click puzzle game crafted with beautifully rendered claymation graphics.The result is an engrossing and entertaining exercise in mystery-solving with an eye-popping look (by the design team that created Earthworm Jim) that’s fun to play but a little more fun to watch.
*Real Myst (realMyst) is an enhanced remake of the original Myst game released for Windows in 2000 (Mac in 2002) and more recently as an iOS app. If you want to relive the original Myst with a few extra features or just want to play your favourite game on the iOS you’ll want to grab a copy of Real Myst.
*The Neverhood is a point-and-click adventure game, notable for its claymation graphics. It uses a simple interface: you move and interact with the world by clicking on the screen. There is no inventory screen, though Klaymen can find a few items he can pick up. There are few inventory-based puzzles; most of the puzzles involve solving riddles and interacting with the environment.

Another fact - We have the software and the power to completely block adblock users from our site, but we’re not going to, at least for now. We figure most of you would like to support us and you only installed Adblock because of other sites that aren’t so considerate with their ad placement. Please, don’t punish us because of them, in the seven or so years I’ve been a blogger/webmaster I’ve ALWAYS considered the need to balance monetisation with reader experience. I want to build an audience not send them away.
So go on, whitelist us and any other site you love. If it wasn’t for ads, the internet would lose a whole chunk of really great niche content like this, which would be a real shame in our opinion.

Critically acclaimed upon release but largely overlooked by the game-buying public, this curious little claymation adventure game has become something of a cult classic. In the game, you’ll guide the unlikely hero Klaymen around the bizarre Neverhood, solving puzzles and helping your fellow pliable pals as you go. The games unique clay animation visuals and excellent soundtrack have aged extremely well and it’s a shame that this particular title finds itself languishing in copyright limbo, unlikely to be re-released any time soon. For any adventure game fans that are lucky enough to find a copy of the game on e-bay or at a garage sale, you will be delighted to know that, despite its age, The Neverhood will run perfectly on a modern PC.Installation
We did not encounter any problems installing the game on our Windows 8 x64 test machine. Simply insert The Neverhood CD-ROM into your computer and run the “SETUP 95” program. The games installer will then run and allow you to install the game anywhere on your PC.If you do have difficulties installing the game, there is a replacement installer available at the Neverhood Restoration Project. We tested this installer and it didn’t seem to offer anything any different to the original, but it may help in some circumstances. Surprisingly for a game that is so old, The Neverhood runs extremely well on modern systems. The game must be run as an administrator (the programs shortcut will ask for administrator access anyway) and for best results you may want to disable any secondary monitors you have attached to your PC. Don’t be tempted to alt-tab from the game to check your e-mail or the web either, if you do so the game will either crash or display in corrupted colours.Neverhood For MacKnown issuesNeverhood For Mac
Audio stuttering on the intro – During the intro movie, the audio may stutter/periodically cut out. There is currently no known workaround for this, but the audio in-game seems to perform correctly.
